[Pretoria, South Africa] On 6 August 2018 at 11:00 the South African SDG Hub, hosted by the University of Pretoria, will launch a major South African publication on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With contributions from the South African government, the United Nations, the European Union and academia, the publication titled Implementing the SDGs in South Africa: Challenges and Opportunities promises to make a significant impact on the national dialogue. The launch event will include a panel discussion with high-level panellists from the Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, the National Business Initiative, the Department of Science and Technology and academia. The South African SDG Hub is an important multi-stakeholder initiative that supports the effective implementation of the SDGs in South Africa. More information is available on its website.
